"Why do you consider the UK as

your preferred study destination

& how will it help to shape your
career ?"

By- Ananya Sharma
The UK has a worldwide reputation for its educational
standards. I would consider the UK my preferred study
destination because it has proved its mettle in
providing quality education, academic excellence, and
financial security to students through earn while you
learn programs. People hailing from varied socio-
cultural backgrounds flock to the United Kingdom to
serve their educational needs.

The UK brings forth globally recognized educational

institutions like University College London, University
of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Imperial College
London, etc. It will also provide me with post-study
work opportunities and help me hone my skills. Post-
study work-visa will help me become professionally
affluent along with gaining some experience. I would
receive a plethora of opportunities to indulge in
research, write research papers and present them in
leading universities. This kind of exposure will enable
me to meet like-minded individuals who will
contribute to my professional journey. Moreover, the
UK also provides several need-based and merit-based
scholarships that will allow me to fund quality
education without any financial constraints.

I wish to pursue Psychology as a career. I am also a

comic writer and designer for a Psychology Magazine.
Studying in the UK will provide me with a plethora of
opportunities because the subject has a lot of scope in
the UK. The UK has plenty of magazines and
organizations working towards Psychology and Mental
Health. It will add more credentials to my profile and
help me have an edge over others. These world-class
programs will contribute to my intellectual
development and professional journey. I would be able
to apply for a work visa after the completion of the
course and this will make the UK my second home.

Studying in the UK would be safe because of the

provision of health and housing at affordable rates. The
country has amenities to help international students
that include health insurance and paid internships.
These things help students deal with situations of
tension and stress. Moreover, I will get to study, live
and interact with students from different corners of
the world. It would improve my communication skills
and interpersonal skills.

I don't think I can think of a better place as my study

and work destination other than the UK. Considering
the number of facilities and opportunities available, I
would love to visit the UK to hone my skills, meet new
people, gain experience and build memories of a
lifetime.
