This course at University of Huddersfield critically appraises the importance of social, ethical,
technological and cultural dimensions of photography as applied to your personal practice and that of
others. This course advances knowledge and understanding of photography and its current and emerging
global applications such as, but not limited to, advertising, architectural commercial, editorial, fine art,
fashion and photojournalism. It also creates awareness and relevance of your work in relation to
professional standards in photographic practice through high-quality post-production skills, sector
awareness and self-promotion through marketing, social media and portfolio development. University of
Huddersfield boasts a distinguished faculty consisting of renowned photographers, scholars, and industry
professionals. The opportunity to learn from such experienced and accomplished individuals is truly
invaluable. I am excited about the prospect of engaging in meaningful discussions, receiving expert
guidance, and benefiting from their wealth of practical insights. Their mentorship will undoubtedly
inspire and challenge me to push the boundaries of my creativity.
After completion of the aforementioned program, I plan on returning to my motherland because this
degree will broaden my exposure to photographic skills and make me able to capture and present the best
of ideas in best of the ways so I can serve my country in the realm of photgraphy. This degree will also
help me in securing a respectable job in leading educational institutions, security agencies and other
corporate frims. I plan to serve my country and make my country proud through my photographic
knowledge and skills that I will acquire in this course.
