INDUSTRY PROFILE:
India Spinning Industry has strengthen from time to time and now it is the
hub of cotton manufacturing.
Cotton is not only consumed to the highest extent in India but it has also
become one of the most profitable textiles in the export industry.
The Indian textile industry is one of the largest segments of Indian economy
accounting one fifth of the industrial production.
COMPANY PROFILE:
Super spinning mill ltd is Indian based company
It is established in the year 1964 by famous industrialist Mr. L.G.Bala
Krishnan at kirikera.
According to survey conducted by South Indian Textile Research
Association the company is one among the best 10 mills in south India.
The company is using cotton as raw material and producing yarn in different counts
that is 60,80,90etc.

The demand of its products is high in international market.
Since they are producing yarn ,they are having the opportunity diversify in
garment industry.

Fluctuation prices of dollar also affect the purchase of cotton in off season.

The sampling method chosen here is random sampling. In random sampling, each item or
element of the population has an equal chance of being chosen at each draw.

FINDINGS:
Majority of the employees are not satisfied with the facilities provided by the company.
87% are satisfied with the company‘s regular and fair appraisal which is done once in
a year .
Most of the employees feel that wages are not matching with the work they done.
67% employees are not satisfied with the leadership style because they are having less
opportunity to participate in decision making and they are not friendly with their
superior.
SUGGESTIONS:
The company should introduce competitive compensation package to increase morale
and job satisfaction of the employees.
Since it is a manufacturing sector organization should provide with proper working
conditions like lighting, canteen, rest rooms etc.
Relationship between superior and subordinate must be cordial
for smooth running of the business.
Communication between the subordinate and superior can be
made effective by putting the bulletin instructions boards and
conducting formal and informal meetings.
