sentiment to create a feeling of
oneness among the people.
Why is national pride important?

• National pride will make a nation

stronger. You will not only be able
to relate to those who share your
patriotic views, but our country
will be stronger as a whole. We
will support efforts to strengthen
our country and unite as a united
group with a single objective. That
objective is to keep the nation
unified and exhibit unity for the
nation's prosperity.

• Pinoy pride is the idea that the people

and culture of the Philippines should
support the interests of the country by
building and sustaining a national
identity based on widely shared
features such as language, race,
religion, or political ambitions.
How can we enhance the pride of our
nation?

• Be an active citizen. Actively demonstrate your love for your country by being part of its political
process.

• One of the best ways to honor the principles upon which our nation was built is to vote.
