Presentation
 To survive in this globalised world, a lot of emphasis has been placed on the
knowledge and the skills of people. With the advent of technology the changes are
more rapid than ever. The curriculum must prepare people who are innovative and
fit well in this changing world. Secondly, the COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted the
world and education very significantly, Times are not normal anymore – Curriculum
and Curriculum delivery must respond to the NEW Normal.
 Prepare a 15 - 20 minute presentation focussing on:
 Globalisation and its impact on education= Post- Covid
 Consider the Fiji situation, which model/s of Curriculum development suit us well
 Curriculum and the future of Education =Post Covid.
 The mismatch between knowledge and skills.
 COVID 19 presents us with a real challenge and real responsibilities
 With rapid technological innovations, state how students can be well equipped for
the information age?
 Can Education depend fully on digital platforms

Presentation
 Begins in week 5 during workshop class
 Done individually through PPT
 No plagiarism – Must be original and contextualised.
 Study rubric carefully
 Relevant slides to be prepared
 Thorough research on your presentation has to be done.
 Include references used in your presentation at the end.
A hard copy of presentation before and a soft copy of
your presentation after (Drop Box given – Turnitin))

 No more than 8 lines on each slide
 Allslides must use bullet points only; no
direct reading
A maximum of 15 slides to be used

coloured slides
