Course Description:

This course discusses Rizal’s life and works in a

newer approach in which it is a mandatory teaching
emphasis on his landmark novels inscribed in
legislation. We will also study Republic Act 1425
popularly known as the Rizal Law and look into the
major issues and debates surrounding the bill its
passage into law, and reflect the impact and
relevance of this legislation across history and the
present time.
