What is a formal correspondence?
A letter
that is written in official situations or
to senior people.
Classify the purposes of writing letters:
-stating personal views/ experiences -inviting a friend to your birthday party.
(at work).
-Complaining about something. -asking your friend for a favour.
-Requesting / asking for information. -applying for something.
