What is PVC?
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is one of the most widely used
polymers in the world. Due to its versatile nature, PVC is used
extensively across a broad range of  industrial, technical and
everyday applications including widespread use in building,
transport, packaging, electrical/electronic and healthcare
applications.

PVC is a very durable and long lasting material which can be

used in a variety of applications, either rigid or flexible, white
or black and a wide range of colours in between.

How can you reduce

usage of Poly Vinyl
Chloride(PVC) pipes?
We can replace it by following
materials:
Copper
Cast iron
Galvanized Steel

environment?

• PVC is the most environmentally

damaging plastic. The PVC
lifecycle its production, use, and
disposal which results in the
release of toxic, chlorine-based
chemicals.
• PVC production is the largest
and fastest-growing use of
chlorine.
• The manufacturing process of
PVC is unsustainable.
• It can disrupt the animal's
hormones, causing birth defects,
infertility, and developmental
problems.

pipes made ?

1. Feeding of raw material pellets / powder

into the PVC twin screw extruder.
2. Melting and heating in multiple extruder
zones.
3. Extruding through a die to shape into a
pipe.
4. Cooling of the shaped pipe.
5. Cutting of PVC pipes to the desired
length.
6. It can manufacture in various lengths,
wall thickness, diameters and also
according to international standards like
DIN 8061, ASTM D1785 and ASTM
F441
