WHEREAS, the Philippine TVET Trainer's Qualification Framework (PTTQF) provides that: y y y The TVET Trainors qualification levels

I to IV, from Trainer I to Mentor/Master Trainer Each qualification level is a combination of competencies in Technology and Methodology / professional streams The technology levels follow the Philippine TVET Qualification Framework (PTTQF), a system of assessment and certification for workers A Trainer should have National Certificate higher than the qualification level of the trade he/she is teaching. A Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) trainer should be certified in at least NC II. Only Mentors/Master Trainers are allowed to handle training of trainers . The methodology levels shall follow the Trainers development paradigm.-

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the TESDA Board approves and adopts the Philippine TVET Trainers' Qualification Framework (PTTQF) as purported to guide the development and recognition of qualifications of the trainers, in the TVET sector; BE IT RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution and the Philippine TVET Trainers Qualification Framework (PTTQF) be disseminated to all concerned. Adopted this 5th day of February 2004

A TVET Trainer is a professional who enables a learner or a group of learners to develop competencies to performing a particular trade or technical work. Towards this end, a TVET Trainer may assume various roles such as training facilitator, competency assessor, training designer and developer and training supervisor.

Portfolio Assessment by providing work samples, Training Certificates, Third Party Report/s, Written Assessment Demonstration of competence

How to TQ1/AQ1 the TVET Trainers


 The TVET Trainer must be certified NCII in his field of specialization following the system of Assessment for Workers  The TVET trainer must be assessed in Trainers Methodology (TM1) using the Assessment Tools designed for the four Units of Competencies (An NTTA Trainer/Assessor or its duly accredited Assessor (Backbone) must be present during the Assessment

A certified NCII plus Competent TM1 trainer shall be awarded Trainers Qualification (TQ1) ` The TVET Trainer shall take Assessment Module (AM1) and must be assessed and Certified Assessor ` A Certified NCII and Competent AM1 Assessor shall be awarded Assessors Qualification (AQ1)
