What are Human Values?
Basic human values refer to those values which are at the core of being human. The values
which are considered basic inherent values in humans include truth, honesty, loyalty, love,
peace, etc. because they bring out the fundamental goodness of human beings and society at
large.

Perks of Human Values.

oHuman values teach us to move in the right paths as most of the people we meet today
will provide us a fake help and when we get to choose between two stages, we should listen
to our human values which will always help us to move in the right direction.

oPeople have forgotten the value of goodness and beauty, and when they get taught about
the values, they will stop thinking about lust and start appreciating the goodness of beauty in
anyone.

oHuman values build our character; if we attain good values, then it is quite sure that we
will have good character because a good character always have decent human values and
that is why we may get seen as a great human being after we acquire great human values.

oHuman values always help in promoting peace and harmony among countries and among
societies within a country.
How to learn this values in real life.........

oPeople learn most of their values in the early years of their life from those
they see around. Children absorb these values from their parents and
teachers. Families and educators play a crucial role in building values in
children and students as they see them as role models.
oOne can also learn about the morals of the good life from the holy and
religious books, as such holy books have great moral lessons written in
them.
oChildhood and the teenage period is the most crucial phase in a person’s
life because it is at this time, that one cultivates most of his normal
principles or values. Human values are formed by different stages and
incidents in one’s life, especially in teenage and college life.
oIts also important to constantly visit some NGOs or old age homes and
help those people. This way we can really learn alot about the harsh reality
near us and we will start appreciating the things we have.

Awareness week
An initiative to stop
CORRUPTION

GROUP ASSIGNMENT
-STATISTICAL PRESENTATION-

Following slides contain the graphical

presentation of the data collected through a
survey conducted under our campaign(‘we
oppose’) against corruption.
What is your age?
The majority of the people
responded in the survey were
of the age of 18 to 30, with as
high share as 67%.
It was really shocking to see
that 26.6% percent of the
participants aging less than
18years have experienced
corruption.
Remaining share of the total
percent is held by people of
age more than 3o and less
than that of 60.
On the basis of gender?
It really signifies that that
neither only men nor only
women have to come across
some corrupted officers.
There’s not a very significant
difference in the share of both
male and female facing
corruption.(Based of the
survey conducted by us)
Had to lose an opportunity
just because of corruption.
The data clearly tells that
about 21% of the participants
had to loose an opportunity
because of the corruption
present.
It really did upset us to know
that even more than a quarter
of people aren’t even aware if
they have had ever missed an
opportunity because of
corruption.
Ever filed a case against
corruption?
We were really taken aback after
watching this. Even when majority
of the people are facing
corruption; be it a man or
women, be it a teenager or a full
grown citizen of society, 90.4% of
them have never filed a case
against it. In present time when
most of us are educated and are
aware of our rights, we still don’t
bother to oppose it. Ultimately
support this practice which is
slowly eating our economy, our
opportunites and many other
things that we are not even aware
about. Don’t remember
IT LEFT US WITH NO WORDS TO SEE THE LEVEL OF CORRUPTION
EXPERIENCED BY THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM. A SIGNIFICANT RATIO
OF THE PARTICIPANTS HAVE SELECTED 8, ON THE SCALE OF 1-10.
Are people aware of
PIDPI?
The pie chart is a clear
evidence of the fact that
every 3 in 4 persons are
not aware about the PIDPI
complaints. Even though
these complaints are
specially designed to file
complaint against
corruption, even without
revealing the identity of a
person.
OVERALL REPORT:
• After studying all the data one by one we have come on a
conclusion that the level of corruption in the society is
very high.
• It is present everywhere and is affecting everyone; a
male or female, teenager or a mature person, a
businessman or a student.
• People even being educated are neither taking steps to
stop corruption nor are they aware of the commissions
specially made to stop corruption.
“WE OPPOSE”
Campaign layout

A small initiative to make people

aware of the problem of corruption.
Survey about awareness
of corruption.
We successfully organised a survey
reaching out people to verify if they
are aware about the corruption
present in the society, also if they
know about the PIDPI complaints.
This way we were able to reach out
to the maximum number of people
and collect their information within
limited period of time.
It really helped us to understand the
seriousness of the situation. Not only
this but also we were able to conclude
that how many people(who are facing
corruption) are actually doing
something to stop it.
Most of the questions were kept as
multiple choices, so that without
wasting the time of participants we
could get the best and valid data.
Made the survey more
interactive.
By adding a mandatory
question at the end of the
survey we tried to make the
survey more interactive.
Apart from this, the
question gave the
participants a chance to
clearly define how they see
the corruption around
them.
From almost a hundred
responses we shortlisted a
few which gives the essence
of whole responses.
Posting on social
media.
This measure was
specifically taken because of
the increasing demand of it in
society. Almost everyone,
being it a teenager or an
adult, is active on social
media. So instead of wasting
paper and money by
circulating printed posters,
we targeted a larger group of
people by posting on social
media.
On an average our each
post got 120 likes, and
reached more than 200
persons. With least of the
wastage and efforts we were
able to circulate our message
to a significant ratio of
people.
Making eye catchy posters
for our campaign.
Our other measure was one
of the most used and the
most effective method, using
eye catchy posters.
We designed a lot of ‘WE OPPOSE’
attractive posters to make CORRUPTION
people stop and look out,
WHAT IS IT?
This was a real success, as
most of our team mates
received direct messages full
of curiosity about our
campaign.

Agenda of The Poster
 Basic Theme : Stop Rape culture, Harassment and Bullying of women in the society.

Other things expressed by the poster.

1. The women stepping upward on the stairs (top right corner) represent that how women
themselves have to step up to stop this rape culture. None other than them can bring a
change.
2. The other thing communicated via the poster is that how the whole women community
has to come together and help each other. As we always say united we stand divided we
fall, similarly if all women come together and raise their voice they can rectify the
scenario.
3. The three pictures on the bottom part of the poster is to educate girls about
WRONG/BAD TOUCHES. There have arrised many cases where the younger girls
experienced them and they weren’t even aware.
4. In the bottom right part of the poster there have been added the Hash tags.
