So let me start this presentation with the
information on Pidie's specialty food

Apam is a typical food of the people of Aceh, specifically

the people of Pidie Regency. In the past, this food, which
was burned in an earthen cauldron and coconut fiber,
could only be found during the month of Ramdhan and the
month of Kenduri apam or the month of Rakjab, but now
it can be found in several food outlets and coffee shops.

Since the end of our history, it has been mentioned that custom
and religion are an inseparable part. Customary and cultural
practices reflect the characteristics of Islamic law.
One of the cultures that has long been passed down from
generation to generation in our society, Aceh, in the month of
Rajab is the "Tet Apam" feast. This is a tradition that is deeply
rooted and has very deep philosophical values, both from a
religious and socio-cultural perspective.

Apam that has been cooked with tuhe soup is ready to be served to
guests who are deliberately called/invited to the house. And anyone
who passes / passes in front of the house, must have time to enjoy
this Khanduri Apam dish. If sufficient, Apam's feast is also
delivered to Meunasah and to families living in other villages.

from village to village during the month of Apam (the
month of Rajab) for a whole month.
● In order to re-preserve Aceh's customs and culinary
tastes, the government almost every year together with
the Aceh tourism office holds a Tet Apam festival, so if
you want to enjoy the taste of apam pidie and its unique
