Summary

Rechel is an excellent candidate, she is a fresh graduate and graduated with latin honors, she
is thirsty to impress and to acquire skills, although she might be overshadowed by Rogelio’s
credentials especially his work experience because no knowledge can compete with a real life
experience in the professional world, although despite his experience, Rogelio might be less
effective on the position he is applying than the position he gained experienced with.

Conclusion

The deliberation between Rechel and Rogelio is tight but we will have to go with Rechel.
Despite Rogelio having a good two year experience, Rechel is an outstanding candidate
especially graduating with Latin honors, plus she is a blank slate and a walking sponge for
knowledge and skills, she can be molded into someone that can be a powerful asset for the
company.

Recommendation

Companies should always hire someone that is in line with their core values and vision
because in the end, they will establish themselves with the company’s culture more quickly
and could even be a long-term employee for them.
