Research •The number of electronic commerce in the world is increasing. According to Statics
data in 2016, it increased to USD 1,915 billion or around Rp 24,895 trillion in 2017.
Even Statista estimates that the figure will double in 2020 to USD 4,058 billion

Backround
(Kompas, 2017).

•The increasing number of MSMEs who have implemented e-Commerce is expected to

encourage economic growth in their respective regions. Although the electronics
market also has a variety of specific risks and problems that are evolving and need to
be addressed. For that, every company needs to study risk management, Kasidi (2014).

•According to Liu Xiao (2004), there are 8 dimensions of perceived risk in e-

Commerce these are financial risks, social risk, risk of time, risk of performance,
physic risk, psychologist risk, privacy risk, a security risk.

•Darmawi Herman (2006) Operational risk management is the design of procedures

and implementation of procedures to manage business risk. With risk management, risk
can be managed to minimize losses. From the Islamic perspective, risk management is
an effort to maintain Allah's trust in wealth for the benefit of mankind.

detrimental impact on the MSMEs.
Operational Risk Management

Theoretical According to (Djohanputro,2008) the operational risk is the potential deviation from
expected results due to the malfunction of a system, human resources, technology, or
another factor.

Framework Risk Management in Islam

It is very clear that the management's point of view at risk, Islam supports all efforts to
eliminate or minimize risk, as well as believing that only God's decision will determine
the result (Muhamad Iqbal,2005).

‫وا َق ْد‬ ۟ ُ‫ُصي َب ۭ ٌة َيقُول‬

"If you (Muhammad ‫ )ﷺ‬get some good, they become unhappy. therefore; if you are
struck by a disaster, He said: "We have noticed before. our business (not going to war)" and
they turned away with a sense of happiness. Say, "It will never happen to us. Except what
God has set for us. He our protector, and only to Allah those who believe you have to trust."
(QS. At Taubah: 50-51).
Classification Of Operational Risk Management

Theoretical (Fahmi Irham, 2015) an understanding of the operational risks that cause losses is
done by grouping operational risks into several risk event categories and based on the
main cause of risk. Risk Further operations can be divided into 4 types of operational

risks, examples are:

1. Risk Of human resources

2. Risk of technology
3. Risk of process
4. External risk

Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a method that is used to assess risk.
FMEA can be defined as a systematic approach to identifying all possible failures in a
design, process, product, or service (Maria, 2020).
Analysis risk

Theoretical Jason (2019), One method in risk analysis is risk mapping which includes every risk
in the risk matrix so that it can be known as acceptable risks and unacceptable risks. As
part of the risk management process, organizations can use a risk matrix to help them

Framework
prioritize different risks and develop an appropriate mitigation strategy.

Risk Treatment
Risk management is a decision of a step or action. to deal with the risks identified.
There are four types of handling. Risks are commonly used to deal with risk (Larson,
2018). Here are four types of risk management, That are :

1. Mitigation risk
2. Avoiding risk
3. Transferring risk
4. Accepting risk
