 INTRODUCTION
❖ The “XYZ Air Travels Ltd” flight reservation system is a Java-based booking
solution for flight tickets.
❖ XYZ Air Travels Ltd plans to develop "Online Flight Reservation System" a web
application where users (travelers) can reserve Domestic/international flight tickets
and manage their reservations.
❖ This application allows the users to book, cancel, view, and update their bookings
with ease.
❖ All the bookings, flights, schedules, and routes can be viewed, added, and modified
on a single application by the administrator.
EXISTING SYSTEM

❖ In the traditional practices user has to book a ticket at specified registered ticket counters
suggested by airline in offline.
❖ User has to fill a ticket form using some system and take the print out of ticket on paper
documents show it at the airport while check in.
❖ Passenger may not have much freedom over this approach.
❖ Manually goes to the airport and book his ticket.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

❖ The flight reservation system that we have proposed

ensures total freedom for passengers, where
passenger can use his own personal computer to log
on the website and can book his ticket.

❖ The airline ticket booking system allows only

registered users or passengers to reserve the flight
tickets, view flight timings and cancel their flight
tickets.
 FEATURES

❖ Better user interface for the users.

❖ Security for the reservation of the customers.
❖ User can search for a specific flight.
❖ A user can also view his/her conformation using User_id
provided during reservation process, which is for
security.
OBJECTIVES

❖ Easy and fast retrieval of data.

❖ The objective of this project is to provide the passenger the better reservation in turn the
fast service to get the reservation over in time.
❖ Better storage capability.
❖ More efficient operations.
❖ This automated system saves the time and manpower.
