DEFINITION:
• The Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient or
simply Pearson’s measures the degree of relationship
between two variables, X and Y by means of a single
number called correlation coefficient. When two variables
are mathematically associated, they are said to correlate.
•A type of correlation coefficient that represents the
relationship between two variables that are measured on
the same interval.
Value of correlation coefficient:
