Look at this picture. What words and sentences


does it make you think of? We are going to
write some sentences based on the picture using
the following pattern of sentences. Remember to
say your sentence out loud first before you write
it!

Sentence 1 Write a sentence that ends in an exclamation mark (!).

Sentence 2 Write a sentence that uses two words that describe the colours
you can see.
Sentence 3 Use a word that ends in –ing.

Sentence 4 Write a sentence using two of these common exception words:


love, has, you, to, school, today.
Read through your passage carefully – does it include everything we
are looking for?
