★ He is the 46th and the
current president of USA
(preceded by the former
president Donald Trump).
★ He served as the 47th vice
president from 2009 to 2017
under Barack Obama.
Early Life
★ Joe Biden was born on November 20,1942 in
Scranton,Pennsylvania.
★ He was first of four siblings in a
Catholic family with a sister(valerie)
and two brothers(James and Frank).
★ Joe Biden’s mother was Catherine Eugenia
“Jean” Biden. Joseph R.Biden Sr was the
father. He unfortunately passed away in
2002 september.
Early Political Career

★ Joe’s political career started in 1972, at the age

of 29, he was elected in the senate making him the
fifth youngest senator.
★ He served the senate for more than 3 decades (1973-
2009). The senate underwent events like, the end of
the Vietnam war and the impeachment of Richard
Nixon under his presence.
★ He favored gun control, women rights, gay rights,
gay marriages and other important decisions
★ He was Barack Obama’s running mate in 2008 election
and became the vice-president for 2008-2012 and was
re-elected for 2012- 2017 as well
