In 2010, it was listed as 107th in the Fortune 500 ranking .  The company slogan is NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE has a picture of a deere as a logo.  John deere having 55,700 employees across the world.

 The company started its operations in India by setting up a green field project for manufacturing modern agricultural tractors at Sanaswadi near Pune. Pune.  The plant was set up in 1998 99.  The facility in India is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified for its compliance to quality.  John Deere has sales and marketing offices in 14 locations.(P.N.B.R.J.U.CN.LK.CH.)

 The manufacturing facility in India manufactures the 5000 series agricultural tractors  Currently the company manufactures agriculture tractors in India These include Rigid cultivators, spring loaded cultivators, dozer loader backhoe combinations, rotary tillers, laser levelers, seed cum fertilizer drills. . The company has recently introduced new products under its Crop Solution program.

 Deere & Company has officially opened its new manufacturing and parts distribution facility south of Moscow in Domodedovo. Domodedovo.  The John Deere Domodedovo facility is the companys largest single investment to date in Russia.  The facility will manufacture agricultural, construction and forestry machinery as well as distribute service parts in the region.
