Protocol and Guideline s To achieve and in compliance with the minimum health standards required by DOH, the school shall:
• Conduct periodic disinfection of all school
facilities. • Observe mandatory physical distancing at all times in vicinity of the school. • Implement wearing of mask and proper waste disposal. • Conduct mandatory thermal scanning of body temperature in all entrance gates including those persons inside the car. • Provide hands-free washing station in entrance gate. • Provide functional hand washing facility in all strategic areas of the school. • Ensure presence of alcohol and/or sanitizer in all offices, classrooms, and guardhouses. • Provide disinfecting rugs (foot bath) at the entrance of the doors of offices and classrooms. • Advice school personnel and learners with flu-like symptoms for Home Isolation. • Advice anyone with body temperature of 37 degrees and up subject for rechecking. If same results, advise them to stay at home or see healthcare providers. • Ensure that canteen personnel MUST secure latest health card certificate and must observe proper handling of food and subject to other standard protocols specified by DepEd guidelines. • Coordinate with LGU Health Unit for random monitoring as external audit in compliance of specified minimum health standards.
