MS PAINT

MS Paint- It is used as a drawing,

coloring and painting tool.
 TITLE BAR
•This displays the file name and the
program name.
 MINIMIZE, RESTORE OR MAXIMIZE
• Are found on the rightmost part of the Title bar.
• Selecting the Restore button will change to
Maximize button, while the Maximize button will
bring back the Restore button.
 QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR
• This contains the most commonly used commands
like Save, Undo and Redo.
 RIBBON
• This is found below the Title bar. Most of the commands
and tools we will use are grouped together on the
Ribbon. Under the home tab, we can find the following
groups of commands
 CLIPBOARD
•This has the Cut, Copy and
Paste commands.
 IMAGE GROUP
•This has Select, Crop, Resize and
Rotate commands
 TOOLS GROUP
• This contains the Pencil, Fill with color,
Text, Eraser, Color picker and Magnifier
tools
 BRUSHES GROUP
• This has nine (9) kinds of brush of various
widths and textures
 SHAPES GROUP
• This allows us to insert ready-made shapes
such as lines, rectangles, circles, triangles,
arrows, stars and callouts
 SIZE GROUP
•This sets the width of the
selected tool.
 COLORS GROUP
•This allows us to set the color for the
selected tool.
 DRAWING AREA
• This is the large white blank space where we draw
and paint. It is like the canvas o an artist where he
or she creates his or her drawing or painting.
