ME-V – Variable Compression Pressure

 ME-B design → electronically controlled fuel injection and

mechanically controlled exhaust valve lift.

 ME-B and optimal part load consumption → ME-V possibility of

adjusting the compression pressure

1. Test on our test stand will start beginning of 2010.

2. Test is expected to be finished summer 2010.

3. Service test will be made in the autum 2010

4. When ready, expected end of 2010.

The system will be introduced as an option.
To obtain improved part load fuel consumption.
