WHAT IS TEACHER
EDUCATION?
The term Teacher Education can be defined as
a set of polices and guidelines used to equip
teachers with knowledge, attitudes and skills
to perform duties within a classroom.

CODE OF ETHICS

The Jamaica Teachers Association Code of Ethics came into effect in 1977.
The Code of Ethics sets Standard for teachers in Jamaica. It is used to assist
teachers in evaluating their behaviour and conduct that is required in the
learning Environment.
