Compound – Complex
Sentences
“A compound complex sentences shares the characteristics of both compound sentences and
complex sentences. Like the compound sentences, the compound – complex sentences
contains at least two independent clause (IC) or main clause. Like complex sentence, the
compound – complex sentence has at least one subordinate clause (DC).”
