The sales leaflet (portfolio)

The sales leaflet is the physical tool of the sales pitch, its visual
representation.  

Only when you start the convincing part and after having made


a recap of your customer’s needs, you will open your sales

leaflet and present it to the buyer/customer in front of you. 

The sales leaflet has to be considered as a visual help and proof


to your argumentation like a powerpoint presentation
for the oral presentation.

You will need the paper version and the virtual version
You will refer to the information given by your customer, what
he said about his needs in order to convince him.

The way You will express yourself in terms of customer advantages you


can offer thanks to the different qualities of your product
forward according to the 7 motivations (SONCASE) .  

You have to refer to the customer needs. All the price and


money notions have to be kept at the end of the negotiation.

Structure
• The sales leaflet has to be organized in such a way that it is easy to
use
• A lot of visual aspects that prove the customer advantages
• The sales leaflet IS NOT a catalogue. 
• Your sales leaflet is your working tool.

give him a catalogue, your product
sheet, but not your working tool except
if it has exclusively been built for your
customer
Evaluation criteria
Content:
• Clear company presentation
• Features, customer advantages, proof
• Straight to the point info, technical detail, adapted vocabulary
• Correct commercial features: prices, dicounts etc
• Adapted info and material for negotiation: price list, order form, business card,…

Style:
• General presentation, clarity
• Attractive and useful illustrations
• Organization and practical use of leaflet
• Consistency with brand and products
