INTRODUCTION
TRANSIENT RESPONSE
O The condition prevailing in an
electric circuit between two steady
state conditions is known as transient
state.It lasts for a very short time.The
currents and voltages during
transient state are called as
transients.
O We consider Transient analysis for
following circuits
O 1.Transient response of series RL circuit for
step input and sinusoidal input
O 2.Transient response of series RC circuit for
step input and sinusoidal input
O 3.Transient response of series RLC circuit
for step input and sinusoidal input
O All are analysed with differential approach
