Automotive Market
 If vehicles are safe, efficient and
comfortable, it is all because of
automotive embedded systems and
electronics
What is an Embedded System?
CONT..
 Any sort of device which includes a
programmable computer but itself is not intended
to be a general-purpose computer” – Marilyn Wolf
 Electronic innovation has made extraordinary
steps and these days the nature of electronic
parts—execution, power, and unwavering
quality—empowers utilizing them
notwithstanding for basic frameworks.
 In the meantime, the diminishing expense of
electronic innovation permits them to be
utilized to support any function in a car.
Characteristics of an Embedded System

 Single-Functioned
 Tightly Constrained
 Reactive and Real Time
 Microprocessors Based
 Memory
 Connected
 HW-SW Systems
TECHNOLOGY IN EMBEDDED SYSTEM AND APPLICATIONS: -

o Embedded systems will be of high
importance not only for mobile devices
and networks but also for real-time
applications. The present and future
industries that are aggressively growing
include aerospace, healthcare, military,
and consumer electronics applications,
etc some of its applications are as
follows: -
CONT..
 Python
 Wireless Connections
 Speed
 Artificial Intelligence
 Cyberattacks and Counterattacks
Types of embedded systems:

EXAMPLES OF EMBEDDED SYSTEM:
ADVANTAGES OF EMBEDDED SYSTEM:

 They are convenient for mass

production. This results in low price
for piece.
 Embedded Systems are very reliable.
 They consume less power and
electricity, and they also perform task
and operations assigned to them with
great accuracy.
DISADVANTAGES OF EMBEDDED SYSTEM:

 It has no room for technological

improvements.
 The embedded systems are hard to maintain.
 It is complicated to take back up of the
embedded files.
 The embedded systems have less power
supply durability if it is battery operated.
 You need to reset all setting, due to happen
any issue in the framework.
 Investigating is Harder.
FUTURE PROSPECTS:

 Embedded system design is an important

sub-branch of engineering which is
developing at a certain pace. It can be
said as the combination of electrical
electronics engineering and computer
engineering. The aim of the embedded
system is to perform the single specific
task. Embedded systems are a specific
combination of microcontrollers which
controls certain tasks.
CONCLUSION:

 Furthermore, embedded systems are rapidly

becoming a catalyst for change in the computing,
data communications, telecommunications,
industrial control and entertainment sectors.
Automatic systems in any field will be useful and
will save the people and organizations. New
innovative applications in these as well as other
areas will make embedded systems as one of the
fastest developing technology of the near future.
Thus the embedded system plays an important
role in our day today life.
