Matthew 26:39
And He went a little beyond them, and fell
on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father,
if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me;
yet not as I will, but as You Will.”
It’s a choice of obeying God or not.
Luke 6:27-28
27 “But I say to you who hear, love
your enemies, do good to those who
hate you, 28 bless those who curse
you, pray for those who mistreat you.
It’s a choice God given to us that
we must follow. For our own good.

To love like CHRIST is a CHOICE.

Luke 6:27-28
27 “But I say to you who hear, love your
enemies, do good to those who hate
you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray
for those who mistreat you.
We need to develop good habit if we
want to change.
It takes a lot of practice…

Correct practice makes perfect.

Luke 6:31-32
31 Treat people the same way you want
them to treat you. 32 If you love those
who love you, what credit is that to you?
For even sinners love those who love
them.
1 Peter 3:9-10
9 not returning evil for evil or insult for insult,
but giving a blessing instead; for you were called
for the very purpose that you might inherit a
blessing.
10 For, “The one who desire life, to love and see
good days, must keep his tongue from evil and
his lips from speaking deceit.

Matthew 7:3-4
3 Why do you look at the speck that is in your
brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in
your own eye?
4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me
take the speck out of your eye,’ and look, the log
is in your own eye?

“…meaning we are to follow whatever God

told us to do.”
Luke 6:35-36
35 But love your enemy and do good, and
lend, expecting nothing in return; and your
reward will be great and you will be sons of
the highest; for He Himself is kind to
ungrateful and evil people. 36 Be merciful just
as your Father is merciful.
Sometimes God use difficult
people to transform us, to change
us into the lightness of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:9
But you are not controlled by your sinful
nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if
you have the Spirit of God living in you. And
remember that those who do not have the
Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong
to him at all.

Galatians 5:16-17
16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will
not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For
the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are
in opposition to one another, in order to
keep you form doing whatever you want.
