 What is Meta Verse ?

• Meta is basically a Greek prefix which means “after” or

“beyond” which quite truly captures the idea behind the
renaming of the platform.

• It blurs out the differences between the real and fake and
gives the audience a thrilled combined experience. 

• Movies like Constantine, Matrix etc gives you a clear idea of

what and how the virtual world or reality meets with our real
world.

• The Potential & scope of virtual reality is so vast & can only get
better with each new equipment or technology that is being
introduced.

• The concept would not only bring people from various parts of
the world closer, it would break the physical & superficial barriers
we all have in our lives.

• It would particularly benefit the business industry & would turn

out to be a revolutionary move considering the ongoing
pandemic situation
 • The VR or reality headset seems to be primary device of
choice for facebook & not to forget facebook is already a
proud owner of its very own oculus VR headset.

• It is however not every man’s cup of tea, costing USD 300

or more, leaving only the rich to afford it.

• Though the initial reviews of the Facebook project haven’t

been great, Facebook promises to keep up to it.
 Fortnite (virtual space where avatars meet)

Fortnite is mora than a game: it became a social meeting

place for many groups of friends, particurly younger
people & particularly during pandemic
