 INSTRUCTIONS
• A foreign visitor is coming to Ecuador. Write 5 rules and 5 tips. Use these ideas:

• Write each rule or tip on a separate slide including a picture.

• The modal verbs for rules must be in bold and RED.
• The modal verbs for tips must be in bold and GREEN.
• See the examples on slides 3 & 4 as a guide for your work.
Example of RULE:
• In Australia, you must stand on the left when
using the escalators.
Example of TIP:
• In Australia, you don’t have to wear footwear in
the coastal regions during summer seasons.

You mustn’t eat and drink food while you are in a classroom.
RULE # 2
You musnt’t smoke in Parks and public spaces
 RULE # 3
You mustn’t throw trash on raods, pavements and cycle lanes.

You must speak the language determined in the class.

RULE # 5

You mustn’t use their cellphones while crossing the roads,

pavements and cycle lanes.
ADVICE # 1
You can use public transport to arrive the center of the city.
ADVICE # 2
You shouldn’t go out at night alone, it is dangerous.
 ADVICE # 3
You should talk to people who are older than you, they are wise.
ADVICE # 4
You shouldn't eat and drink at the same time, because you can get
crammed
ADVICE # 5

You should buy winter clothes before you visit Quito.
