Subject verb agreement simply means
the subject and verb must agree in number. This

A singular subject (she, Bill, car) takes a singular
verb (is, goes, shines), whereas a plural subject
takes a plural verb.

 What is an article?
 An article comes before a noun and shows what type of noun
it is. Articles can be definite or indefinite.
 The definite article is ‘the’. An indefinite article is the word ‘a’
or ‘an’.
 What are determiners?
What are  Determiners are also used to affect a noun in some way. In
articles and fact, the articles we just looked at are a type of determiner.
But there are some additional ones to note too,
determiners? including demonstrative determiners and possessives.
 Demonstrative determiners include ‘this’, ‘that’, ‘these’, and
‘those’.  All of these describe the identity of the noun you are
referring to.
 Similarly, possessive pronouns show who the noun belongs
to. These include “my”, “your”, “his”, “her”, “its”, and “our”.

 Intensifiers are adverbs or adverbial phrases that
strengthen the meaning of other expressions and show
emphasis.
What are  Words that we commonly use as intensifiers
intensifiers? include absolutely, completely, extremely, highly,
rather, really, so, too, totally, utterly, very and at all.

 Examples:
 She was so upset. I felt extremely sorry for her.
 Don’t work too hard. Sometimes you’ll get more done by relaxing a
bit.
 I don’t think she understood the topic and her essay was rather a
mess.

 Word order refers to the way words are arranged in a sentence. The standard word
order in English is: Subject + Verb + Object. 

 For an Assertive sentence,


Know about the word order is:
word order    1. Article
   2. Adjective- which may be modified by an  [ 2a. Adverb]
   3. Noun / Pronoun
   4.  Verb- which may be modified by an [ 4a. Adverb ]
   5. Preposition
   6. Article
   7. Adjective- which may be modified by an  [7a. Adverb]
   8. Noun / Pronoun.

 Example: `The young boy kicked at the round football.`

Adjectives are placed in English according to their nature or type. There are three
groups of adjectives, defining the qualities of a noun :  
► A. Articles & accessories, relative or perceived circumstantial qualities.
  At the start of group A come Articles and determiners
► B. Basic, permanent but circumstantial qualities
► C. Classifying adjectives, innate or fundamental permanent qualities

 A part of speech is one of the nine types of English words: verb, noun, adjective
adverb, pronoun, preposition, determiner, conjunction, interjection.

 The most important parts of speech are the BIG FOUR and they are:
 verb (deliver - expresses action)
Know about  noun (computer - expresses a thing)
the parts of  adjective (yellow - tells us more about a noun)
 adverb (quickly - tells us more about a verb)

 The other parts of speech are mostly small words:
 pronoun (it - replaces a noun)
