By Group 2 G12-J Animation & Technical Drafting
The Industrial Age
◦ The Industrial revolution is a period of scientific and
technological development which began in the 18th century. This
period encompasses the widespread transformations that
impacted the largely rural agrarian societies especially in
Europe and North America. These societies were then
urbanized and industrialized as a consequence of the changes in
economical and sociological organizations.
The Industrial Age
◦ Goods or products which were manually crafted before had
started to be manufactured and produced in mass quantities
thanks to the new mechanization or the introduction of new
power-driven machines. There were few innovations that were
developed in the early 1700s but the Industrial revolution began
to a greater extent by the 1830s and 1840s in Britain, and soon
spread to the rest of the countries around the world, including
the United States.
◦ Mass Communication was very significant and vital during the
18th century. The gradual development of mass media became a
major aspect as well during this period of history, as the
introduction of new techniques and machinery in societies
became more widespread. Media is mostly being used to reach
and inform people about prevailing events. The Media is
spreading throughout places in which allows people to be aware
or updated in certain things and makes them come up with
their own ideas or opinions.

A typewriter is a mechanical or
electromechanical machine for
writing characters similar to those
produced by printer's movable type. A
typewriter operates by means of keys
that strike a ribbon to transmit ink or
carbon impressions onto paper.
Typically, a single character is printed
on each key press.
