How are solid waste collected?

Garbage, construction debris, commercial rubbish, sludge from waste treatment

facilities, air pollution control facilities, and other abandoned materials are all
considered to be solid waste. Industrial, commercial, Nuclear, agricultural, residential,
and communal activities can all produce solid waste.

INDUSTRIAL WORK
Industrial waste is the waste produced by industrial activity which includes any
material that is rendered useless, They are typically produced during the
manufacturing of products, agricultural production or during the extraction of natural
resources. That is basically any process that turns raw materials into products that are
sold or distributed. This can include scrap metal, excess plastic, wood chips, fly ash
from powerplants, construction debris, for example.
COMMERCIAL WORK
Commercial solid waste is any sort of waste that is produced by businesses including
offices, warehouses, restaurants, and other non-manufacturing industries. It also includes
non-processing wastes like office and packing wastes that are produced at industrial sites.

CHEMICAL/BIOMEDICAL WORK
Solid chemical wastes are found in solid form in normal temperature. Chemical industries
often produce good share of solid waste most of which are metallic waste. These solid
wastes get into the environment in many ways, mostly when they are improperly
disposed or dumped in the landfill sites.

NUCLEAR WORK
These are highly radioactive waste, often called high-level waste, gotten from the leftover
fuels that were used in nuclear power plants to generate electricity
Often stored on site as dry casks. These materials can remain radioactive and dangerous
to human health for thousands of years.
AGRICULTURAL WORK
Agricultural solid wastes are produced mainly from farming activities.
However, it is not limited to the production but other activities associated
with farming and food chain. Every stage and phase of the agricultural-food
chain can generate significant agricultural solid wastes. The broad
classification of agricultural solid wastes includes the following:
1.Animal production solid wastes
2.Food and meat processing solid wastes
3.Crop production solid wastes
4.On-farm medical solid wastes
5.Horticultural production solid wastes
6.Industrial agricultural solid wastes
DOMESTIC WORK
Domestic waste is one of the most important components of municipal waste  that have become
one of the most significant causes of severe damage to the rural eco-environment because of the
large amounts of waste discharged and improper disposal.
They include food waste, paper, glass, metals, plastics, textiles, etc. A large part of domestic
wastes consists of plant and animal waste such as vegetables, fruit peel, bone and meat waste,
and chicken and fish waste, which are considered as wet wastes.
