OBJECTIVES
 GENERAL OBJECTIVE

 After the required number of 51 hours of exposure in Brgy. Cojuangco, BSN Level 3 students should
acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and appropriate attitude necessary in the performance of
his/her duties.

 It includes the concepts of CHN (Community Health Nursing), PHC (Primary Health Care), principles
and philosophy of various nursing strategies and techniques. The ethico-legal and moral aspects of
nursing should be embodied in all activities. The nursing process or what we called the COPAR
(Community Organizing Participatory Action Research), appropriate communication should be
employed.
 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 1. Familiarization/Awareness of land area, population, figure, boundaries of nearby barangays, and landmarks of the area,
and have a courtesy call to barangay officials and RHU personnel.

 2. Proper assessment of population through house-to-house family interview and based on barangay records (used survey
tools).

 3. Participates in all healthcare activities, especially in the promotion of health and prevention of illness.

Such as:
a. EPI
b. Pregnant women and Delivery
c. Newborn screening
d. Women of Reproductive Age
e. Malnutrition of 0-5 yrs.
 4. Plan health programs together with the healthcare workers, barangay officials and present to them the results
of gathered data based on our assessment.

 5. Implement plant programs together with the barangay health workers, barangay officials, and concerned
citizens.

 6. Evaluate the result/outcome of the program rendered.
