 Description

• Banding machine are operated with Inverters.

The operation is controlled with PLC. Our
banding machine here is located in the middle
of the floor. Due to being in the middle ,a lot
of dirt accumulates .Harmful to dust Inverter
& PLC. Therefore, no dust can be allowed to
accumulate inside the panel. So banding
machine maintenance means Inverter & PLC
equipment cleaning with others equipment
checking.
• All the equipment used in the banding
machine is damaged very little. So if you can
keep it clean like time. There is no big
problem. All equipment must be checked
while maintenance the panel .Power cable
connection check, control cable connection
check, PLC module connection check.
• Shows whether any cable connection is
loose /Overheated. Must be maintenance it.
 Power supply
• Power supply: Power supply unit check. Input
supply 220 V Ac output 24 V DC.
• .
Power supply 24 v Dc
• Below are all the equipment that are installed
on the panel side: Inverter, PLC
(module),control transformer ,power
supply ,auxiliary contractor ,Relay, Breaking
resistor fuse with fuse base.
 Field device
• Field device: Chain motor, Hydraulic pump
motor, Encoder with coupling, Proximity
switch, Solenoid coil, Paddle switch, operating
switch board ,Emergency switch, Selector
switch, Push button switch etc.
 Bending machine encoder
• Encoder: The coupling of the encoder must be
checked while checking the field device. Also
encoder cable connection & encoder pulse
checking.
Encoder with coupling
• Proximity switch: The proximity switch needs
to be cleaned & the connection checked.
• Solenoid coil: The connection of the solenoid
coil needs to be checked.
Solenoid coil
• Paddle switch: The paddle switch has to be
maintained & another one to be prepared so
that it can be used when needed.
Foot /Paddle switch
• Motor: Motor terminal check, meager value
check & earthing insure.
• Operation Switch Board: Every switch fixing
check, connection check ,spring tension check.
