PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES
- Strict Implementation of operational advisories and communications preparations for COVID-19
management both in personnel and PDL following the guidelines of Department of Health and
Higher authorities.
- All Jails are directed to provide isolation facilities and other medical supplies.
- Ongoing construction of eight (8) container vans to be used as isolation rooms donated by EMCOR
Foundation through the City Government of Davao.
- Strict implementation of minimum Health protocol standards such as proper hand hygiene, practice
of cough etiquette, social distancing & wearing of facemask at all times.
- Conduct of regular Health education regarding on the benefits of COVID Vaccine and other health
updates.
- Procurement of medicine, vitamins, soap/disinfectants/cleaning solutions and other medical
equipment needed as part of the infection control practice in every jails of this region.
 COVID-19 TASK FORCE
PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES
- The BJMP facilities directed to provide handwashing area, foot bath,
thermometer/thermal scanner and to establish screening triage area accordance to
the guidelines of DOH.
- Frequent disinfection of facilities as part of the infection control of the region.
- Constant coordination of LGUs and other linkages on the completion of COVID
Vaccines and other programs of PDL and Personnel.
- This region was awarded with SAFETY SEAL CERTIFICATION.
- Participation in Bayanihan Bakunahan National COVID 19 Vaccination Day.
- Implementation of No Contact Visitation.
