Based on the test administered to you recently you have the COVID-19 virus and need to isolate.
Next Steps
1 Self-isolate right away
You should separate yourself from others
within your household and do not go to work,
school or public areas. As much as possible,
stay in a specific room and away from other
people and pets in your home. If possible, you
should use a separate bathroom.
If you have symptoms isolate for:
• At least 10 days since your symptoms
began, AND
At least 24 hours with no fever without fever-
reducing medication, AND
Symptoms have improved.
If you do not have symptoms isolate for:
• 10 days since you were tested.
2 Monitor Symptoms

Continue monitoring your health and contact
your health care provider if your symptoms
get worse.
3 Notify Close Contacts It’s important to
inform people whom you’ve been in contact
with while sick. Specifically, you want to
inform people who you were around from 2
days prior to your first symptoms up until
today. If you do not have symptoms, then use
the timeframe of 2 days prior to the day you
got tested up until today.

Wear a Mask
Wear a facial covering over your mouth and
nose when you are unable to socially distance
6 ft. from others.

Wash Your Hands
Clean your hands often, either with soap and
water for 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that
contains at least 60% alcohol.
