The story "trouble easers" is about a child
and his mother who engage in a spiritual
ceremony to express their gratitude
towards the angels Bahram yazad and
SUMMARY Mushkail assan. the mother recites the
story of Pir khurkain and the boy listens
and replies carefully. the writer through
this story explains how religion effects
people irrespective of what they believe
in.
The author has a narrative tone as he is telling a
story of connected events. Example can be
quoted as the whole story as the author is telling
the story about Pir Khurkain.
The other less dominant tone that can be seen in
the story is an anxious tone as there are uplifts of
chaotic situations throughout the story. For
TONE example on page number 3, paragraph 8,
"Pir Khurkain went to the forest to cut wood
early the next morning. He chopped the trees
until he had gathered a large stack of wood. But
when he went to collect it in the evening, there
was nothing there because the stack of wood had
caught fire and burnt to ashes."

The story is written in an informal style. The
contractions, quotations and an informal
pattern can be seen throughout the story. For
example, on page number 7, in paragraph
11,"When she returned to the palace the
STYLE princess showed the diamond to the King
and exclaimed: 'Father, you are a King, and
yet you don't have a single gem among your
treasures to compare with the lustre of this
diamond given to me by a woodcutter's
daughter." Contractions can be seen.
Author's purpose is to entertain as it is a
story which is written for entertainment
purposes as it is telling about certain events
which happened back to back.

AUTHOR’S Author is meeting his purpose to entertain.

As this story includes many ups and downs,
PURPOSE chaotic events and a very desired reader's
ending, it serves it's purpose to entertain.

Pathos is used in the story as a wide range of
emotions can be seen throughout the
story. For example, on page 7, "Then the
princess and the woodcutter's daughter
became best friends."
Logos is present in a less dominant form as
APPEALS there is some real world related facts in the
story.
Topic relevancy is not achieved as the religion
Zoroastrianism is one of the oldest organized
faiths and the practices that were shown in the
story such as using fire for light and the
presence of bathe houses which do not exist
anymore. The story Trouble Easers portrays the
TOPIC history of Zoroastrianism and the effects on
ingratitude in a very elegant way. The morals
RELEVANCY and teachings of this story must be known to
most as without gratitude people face much
difficulty dealing with certain aspects of life.
This story also hints at how a child observes and
understands his surrounding also the kind of
questions that come to a Childs mind.
