Quidditch is…
1. A wizarding sport played in the Harry Potter world on broomsticks
that had 7 players and uses 3 types of balls.
2. Also known as quadball, is a sport of two teams of seven players
each mounted on a broomstick, and is played on a hockey rink-sized
pitch.

A ball used in the wizarding


game of Quidditch. It is
approximately the size of a
football. When a Chaser used it
to score once, they earn ten
points for their team. It must be
thrown through the goal posts to

A black iron ball used in the
wizarding sport of Quidditch. It
is ten inches in diameter. There
are two Bludgers used in every
match, which are bewitched to
fly around and try to knock the
players off of their broomsticks.

Snitch
The Golden Snitch, often
simply called the Snitch, is the
third and smallest ball used in
Quidditch. It is a walnut-sized
gold-coloured sphere with
silver wings. It flies around the
Quidditch field at high speeds,
sometimes pausing and
hovering in place.
Snitch
The golden snitch is
actually a person in
muggle quidditch.
They wear yellow and
have a yellow sock with
a tennis ball tucked into
their shorts.

Chasers Beaters Keeper Seeker


Beaters-keep the Bludgers away from their
team and hit the Bludgers towards the
opposing team.
There are two Beaters on each team.
Chasers-score goals with the Quaffle by
tossing it into one of the opposing team's
three goal posts.
There are 3 chasers on each team.
Keeper- guards the three goal posts.
There is one keeper per team.
Seeker- tries to catch the Golden Snitch to
end the game and gain 150 points. Only the
seeker is allowed to catch or touch the
Snitch.
There is one Seeker on each team.
