 Term Project: Fall 2022
Project Outline
The Idea:
• The basic concept of the project is to make students work in a team
and analyze the application of OB concepts in the corporate world, in
Bangladeshi context. The students are required to analyze the
organization at all the three levels that OB focuses on; individual,
group and organization.
Project
• Each group is required to choose an organization of choice which is
feasible for them to approach, and conduct interviews from the
concerned manager(s) (First line, middle or top level managers) to
get the required information. The acquired information has to be
analyzed, assembled and presented in the project using the concepts
discussed in the class.
The Team
• Each group will conduct regular sessions amongst themselves to
discuss and contribute in project progress. Students are always
welcome to discuss the progress of the work with the course
instructor. All members have to take part in the efforts to develop,
write and present (to be decided) the project. All group members will
receive the same grade in the report however the marking would vary
in the presentation

• A project report has to be submitted on the assigned date and it has
to cover all the components.

Communication problems, Leadership, Conflicts, Power and
Politics, Structure of the organization)
• Organizational level (Organizational Culture, HR Policies and

• In the end it is once again reminded that it should be a
team effort and copying from any source or using unfair
means will result in penalization by a lower grade. The
group should trust its abilities and come up with an effort
for which you could be proud of and remember in days to
come.

• Write a reflexive essay on the movie “Rocket Singh:
Salesman of the Year”

• This is not a traditional academic essay, it is a reflexive

essay, and should focus on YOUR UNDERSTANDING in
relation to Organizational Behavior.

• Total Marks: 05

• Some points as guideline:

• After analyzing the movie, try to connect as many theories as you can.
• The essay should be written in the first person (use “I”, do not refer to
“the writer” or the “the author”
SUBMISSION DATE: 19 TH

NOVEMBER, SATURDAY
Hard copy of the assignment should be submitted
during class time on 19 November.

For late submission, each day will cost you 2 marks.

• Time limit: 15 minutes for each group (Q/A is not included in this timeframe)

• Presentation Slide Submission deadline: Before 09:30 AM on 9 December.
