Etymology
- engineering science and technology of robots, and
their design, manufacture, application and structural
disposition.
- word „robot“ - first introduced in 1921 by writer Karel
Čapek in his play R.U.R. („Rossums Universal
Robots“)
- it originated from word „robota“ which in Czech
means „forced labor“.
