    What is volleyball?

    Volleyball is team
    sport in which two
    teams of siх players
    are separated by a net.
    Each team tries to score points by
    grounding a ball on the other team
    court.
    It has been a part of the official programme
    of the summer Olympic Games since 1964.
    Some rules

    The team may touch the


    ball up to 3 times but
    individual players may not
    touch the ball twice.
    The players are divided into:

    o Spikers- нападающие
    o Blockers- блокирующие
    o Receiving players-
    принимающие
    o Servers- подающие
    o Liberos- либеро
    Also some rules

    A volleyball match
    consists of sets
    (from 3 to 5). The
    duration of the volleyball
    set is not limited and lasts
    until one team scores 25
    points
    Volleyball Rules

    If there is less than 2 point - lead


    over the opponent, the set
    continues until the lead is
    increased. The match continues
    until one team wins three sets.
    The maximum score in the fifth set
    is 15 instead of 25 points.
