Human subtlety will never devise an invention

more simple or direct than does nature
because in her innovations, nothing is lacking
and nothing is superfluous
Here's another nice piece of engineering and construction.
This time the locale is JAPAN .
Here's the exterior shot of the building. Note the surrounding area

What do you think is inside this building?

Imagine a beach where the sky is always blue, it's never too hot or
cold, the water isn't filled with salt and pollution, and the surf is al
ways perfect - welcome to Ocean Dome, the world's only indoor b

Ocean Dome has its own flame-spitting volcano, crushed white m

providing a permanently blue sky. Temperature, wind and humidit

BURJ DUBAI Recognized as the world's tallest structure,
and fast becoming the icon for life in Dubai, the Burj Dubai
tower offers a one of a kind living experience. With the final
height a much-guarded secret, and the current level of
construction placing the tower over 605m and more than
159 stories, the project, when completed hopefully at the
end of 2008, will be the centerpiece of the entire Downtown
Dubai development, surely Emaar's greatest venture to
date.
The Burj Dubai will feature both residential and commercial
units, with luxury apartments and office space, as well as
the world's first hotel by designer Giorgio Armani. The hotel
will be at the base of the tower and the remaining freehold
space will occupy most of the other floors, with an
observation deck located 442 meters above the ground, the
highest public observation space on earth.
The complex will offer residents and visitors the finest
features, with the world's largest shopping mall, Dubai Mall,
fine dining, cafes and leisure facilities, all surrounded by an
artificial lake and waterways. Residential units will consist
of studio, one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom and
four bedroom apartments, as well as 144 select units
exclusively designed by Giorgio Armani. With freehold
properties in such small supply within the tower, only a
select group of investors and companies will be able to call
the Burj Dubai home.
