Freshwater fish tend to have round bodies and white flesh while saltwater fish have flat bodies and oily flesh. There are many types of fish including round, oval, and compressed-shaped varieties that can have eyes on the sides of their heads or both eyes on top for bottom-dwelling flat fish. Examples given are mahi and flat fish like monkfish and halibut.
