Chapter-1 (My First Sea Journey)
•Robinson Crusoe had a boring
life.He wanted to be a sailor and go
to the sea.One day,he sailed with
his friend for London.First,he felt
ill and afraid but after he felt
better .After he arrived to
London,he stayed there.But he
wanted to go to the sea so,Crusoe
sailed to Guinea in Africa with a
captain.Then,they arrived the
Canary Islands but a Turkish
captain decided to took Crusoe
with him.
Chapter-2(Down the coast of Africa)
•Crusoe worked in Turkish
captain’s house for two long
years.But one day he escaped
by the boat with a boy
(called Xury).They sailed on
south,down the coast of
Africa.Eleven days later,they
arrived Cape Verde
İslands.Xury saw a ship and
they contacted with this
ship.The captain was a good
man and he was going to
Brazil.Xury and Crusoe went
with him.When they arrived
to Brazil,Xury went with Cape Verde İslands
captain and Crusoe stayed in
Brazil.
Chapter-3(The storm and the shipwreck)
•Crusoe worked in Brazil for
some years.Also he bored.One
day, Crusoe and his friends
sailed to Africa for business.But
the ship damaged by a terrible
storm.Crusoe looked around
but he couldn’t see anyone.So,
he was alone.Waves carried
Crusoe to the shore.He stayed
in a tree all night.
Chapter-4(A new life on an island)
•After he woke up,he saw their ship.He
decided to go there for took some food
and tools.Because he was very hungry
and he didn’t know what he will eat
next day.Then,he decided to build a
little houseHe built his house,he built
very strong fences with ropes and
young trees.He went back to ship
twelve times.But after twelfth day,the
ship carried by a storm.
Chaper-5(Learning to live alone)
•Crusoe took guns,foods,tools from the ship.But he
still needed a lot of things.So,he decided to make
them.First,he made his cave bigger.He visited other
part of island.He found a little river and kind of
fruits.Crusoe made pots to keep his food in and had
hot water.It was hard job but, he did it!He had a small
field of corn by coincidence.Also he thought to escape
frpm island.But he dropped out.
Chapter-6(A footprint)
•After a year,he saw something on the
shore.It was a man footprint!He was very
afraid.But he didn’t see anything for a
year..İn addition,he built his third house
in a cave.Then one year, he saw many
pieces of man on the shore.They were
fight on their island and a group of man
bringed their prisoners to Crusoe’s
island.They killed their prisoners and eat
them.One morning,he saw the smoke on
the shore.Many wild man danced and
shouting around the fire for two
hours.Then ,they went to their
island.Crusoe went to shore and he saw
the blood.He decided to kill this wild
mans.
Chapter-7(Man Friday)
•One night,there was a terrible storm.He heard some sound at the
sea.İn the morning,he went to shore and he saw a ship.But the
ship wrecked and no one alive.He took tools,clothes and a box of
Spanish gold from the ship.After a day,he decided to catch one of
the prisoner for escape the island.But for a year and a half no one
came to island.One day,a group of wild man came to island with
their prisoners.After that, the second prisoner escaped to the
bottom of hill.Crusoe met with this prisoner. Crusoe wanted to
give a name of Man Friday.He teached English to Friday. One
day,they went to the highest hill on island.Friday showed his
island and talked about island people.After that,Crusoe began to
think again about escape .Also he thought about Friday and his
island.He showed his old cannon to Friday.Friday wanted to go
with Crusoe everywhere.Then,Crusoe decided about him.Friday
was true friend for him and Crusoe decided to go with him to his
island.
Chapter-8(Escape from the island)
•Crusoe and Friday made preparation for went to
Friday’s island.But one evening,Friday saw a ship
and a boat came to Crusoe’s island from the
ship.There were eleven man.But three of them were
prisoners.They came to shore.Prisoners sat down
under the tree.Crusoe thought ‘This was a chance
for escape from the island. ‘After that,Friday and
Crusoe spoke with prisoners.Prisoners had a great
ship but last night,mutineers came to their
ship.Then,they decided to come to this
island.Because mutineers wanted to went England
without prisoners.Crusoe and prisoners made a
plan.They decided to fight .But they didn’t kill all
of them.They took away others to Crusoe’s
cave.Crusoe,Friday ,Captain and Captain’s friends
were ready for sailed to England.
Chapter-9(Home in England)
•After Crusoe came to England,he learned
his father,mother and brothers died.Also,
he learned one of his brothers had two
son.Crusoe wanted to go Lisbon in
Portugal.Cause he needed money and he
wanted to see his Portugase friends.He
found the Portugase captain.Captain
helped Crusoe about his business.After
that,Crusoe and Friday went back to
England by land.Crusoe married and he
had three children.One of his nephew
wanted to be a sailor.One day,he came to
Crusoe’s house.He offered back to sea
after many years and Crusoe said ‘YES’.He
went back to sea and he had more
adventures.
