History
Armory, its history begins in
the year of 1935, since it
obtained the category of "town"
belonging to the municipality
of Manzanillo, and on June 3,
1967 it was named
"municipality" whose territory
was part of the municipality of
Manzanillo.
Armory Attractions
The attractions are a basic part of
any place, it belongs to the tourism
sector, which makes each place
stand out and have special touches
of attraction for people of all ages,
mainly tourists. Armory is
distinguished by having several
interesting places where you can
spend wonderful moments in the
company of your family, partner,
friends and colleagues. In particular
I am going to tell you about
El Paraíso:
It is another beach area where the
type of beach allows you to practice
water sports such as surfing and
windsurfing. It is another area of ​
the most visited in the Armory
because people can spend extremely
pleasant moments. Here you will
find places known as "ramadas"
where you can enjoy various dishes
from the sea and Mexican snacks.
Flora and fauna
The most abundant plant species
are: granadillo, guayabillo, fig,
guamúchil, huizache, mesquite,
pochote, palo Alejo, palo María,
parota and spring. Regarding fauna,
the species that can still be found in
their natural habitat are: hock,
coyote, heron, pink gull, pinto duck,
ticuiz, tigrillo, magpie and deer,
among other mammals and birds.
