- an electronic component that limits


the flow of electric current in the
circuit.
Resistors are made up of two wires
connected by a poor conductor.
Resistors regulate the current
in an electronic circuit by
absorbing some of the
electrical energy that passes
through it, and dissipating that
energy as heat.
