Proposed Title and Domain
Title - Safety Solution for Women Using Smart Band and App
Domain – IOT (Internet of things)
Introduction
In the current scenario, in every way of life, women keep up with men, but sadly at the cost of
being subjected to abuse, harassment, brutality in public and even in their own homes.
 At any time of the day, they can't leave their homes, they can't wear clothes according to their
will, and they can't even go to work in peace. There is some kind of stigma toward women that not
only destroys their sense of freedom, but also undermines their trust and dreams.
 Because of the above factors, it is quite clear that in the country there is a struggling need for
women's safety. It is worth noting, however, that technological advancement has found its way to
almost all walks of life.
 As such, the benefits of current technology can now be intelligently implemented to address
societal issues. The goal is therefore to apply the current trend in technology, i.e., the Internet of
Things (IoT) to eradicate the fear-filled lifestyle of women.
External objects that can be viewed online. This refers to the ever-growing network of physical
objects with an internet connectivity IP address, as well as the interaction between these objects
and other internet-enabled devices and system.

Objectives
 A smart safety wearable app for women based on the Internet of Things was suggested because of
these crimes that women are subjected to in the current scenario.
 It is implemented in the form of a smart IoT device and includes Raspberry Pi, Heartbeat sensor,
buzzer, GPS, Panic button and Camera.
 This tool is extremely compact and can be triggered by the victim just by clicking a button to get her
current location and capture the attacker's image via the Raspberry Pi camera.
 The location and connection of the captured image will be sent via victim's smartphone to predefined
emergency contact numbers or police, thus preventing additional hardware devices / modules from
being used and making the device lightweight.
Problem Statement
 Women are the subject of exploitation inside and outside the home say whether on roads, trains, cabs,
schools etc.
 Women occupy almost half the globe. But their survival has always been a question, when it comes to
existence with honour and dignity.
 Women’s empowerment in the country can be brought once their safety and security is ensure, either
it may be at home, publics places or during travelling.
Existing System
 SHE (Society Harnessing Equipment) - Garment that generates 3800kV, up to 80 electric
shocksILA security - 3 personal alarms to shock an attacker
 AESHS (Advanced Electronics System for Human Safety) - tracks Victim Location
 App - Alert messages to contacts when button is pressed
 Smart Belt - Garment with an alarm system, activated when pressed
Proposed Methodology
 In the current scenario, in every way of life, women
keep up with men, but sadly at the cost of being
subjected to abuse, harassment, brutality in public and
even in their own homes.
 At any time of the day, they can't leave their homes,
they can't wear clothes according to their will, and they
can't even go to work in peace. There is some kind of
stigma toward women that not only destroys their sense
of freedom, but also undermines their trust and dreams.
 As a matter of grave concern, this plan presents a
wearable device based on Raspberry-Pi, called the
Smart werable device, which is positive for women at
risk and allows them to overcome these odds.
