WHAT ARE MODERATE TO VIGOROUS
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES?

Moderate physical activity refers


to activities equivalent in intensity
– brisk walking or bicycling.

Vigorous physical activity


produces large increases in
breathing or heart rate, such as
jogging, aerobic dance or bicycling
uphill.

DEHYDRATION

Dehydration occurs when
your body loses more fluid
than you take in. When the
normal water content of your
body is reduced, it upsets the
balance of minerals (salts and
sugar) in your body, which
affects the way it functions.
SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:

- feeling thirsty and lightheaded.


- a dry mouth.
- tiredness.
- having dark-colored, strong-smelling
urine.
- passing urine less often than usual.
HOW TO AVOID
DEHYDRATION

Overexertion can occur when
you push yourself too hard
physically. It is the third most
common cause of accidental
injuries in the United States. It can
cause inflammation, leading to
pain and discomfort. If it is not

muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:

- Feel dizzy.
- Experience a fluttering heart.
- Feel sore. - Have chest pain.

- Get too sweaty. - Experiencing Pain.
- Have a high pulse rate.
- Have abdominal pain. - Feeling Excess Fatigue.
