Introduction
• The growing global population and reserves of fossil fuels were looking for alternative
energy sources due to decreasing curves.
• To keep or even rise the quality and reliability of the power supply, new techniques for
operating and managing the power grid are needed owing to the growing use of
renewable energy sources and decentralized generators.
• The use of hybrid systems may increase energy security along with eco-friendly by
decreasing dependency on fossil fuels and rising the proportion of intermittent renewable
energy sources.
• This arrangement represents one of the alternative ways of generating clean and forward-
thinking electricity for the future generation.

3
Objectives
• To provide Continuous Power Supply.

• To provide Clean and Eco-Friendly Power Supply.

• To increases Effciency of Power System.

• Load management.

• Extract maximum power from PV array.

Conclusion
This article described the common as well as future trends for renewable energy systems.
MATLAB Simulink was used to model and simulate the WECS, SPWM inverter, boost
converter, and PV module using their general equations. Wind energy is the most efficient
current energy source owing to its installed capacity and recent advancements in power
electronics and controls. A control system is created that modifies the boost converter's duty
cycle to maintain the intended or constant O/P power despite variations in wind speed. The
SPWM inverter was developed using MOSFETS. Trigger sequences were found and
accordingly a pulse generator was created for every MOSFET. The sine wave is produced
by passing the square wave from the inverter's O/P through a “low pass” filter.
