     Definition:

    “ A gradual increase in the overall temperature of the


    earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse
    effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs,
    and other pollutants.”
    CAUSES OF GLOBAL WARMING:

     Power plants
     Transportation
     Oil drilling
     Farming
     Deforestation
     Fertilizers
     Natural gas drilling
     Volcanic eruption
     Garbage
    EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING:

     Rising maximum temperatures.


    • Rising sea levels.
    • Higher ocean temperatures.
    • An increase in heavy precipitation (heavy rain and hail)
    • Shrinking glaciers.
    • Thawing permafrost.
    SOLUTION:

     Set limits on global warming pollutants.


     Invest in jobs and energy.
     Drive smarter cars.
     Create green homes and buildings.
     Build better communication and
    transportation network.

    EFFECTS OF POLLUTION:

     An increased risk of heart disease, wheezing,


    coughing, and respiratory problems and skin,
    nose, and throat irritation can be caused by
    high levels of air pollution. Air Pollution affects
    human health in different ways, Air pollution
    may also cause heart attacks, asthma, and other
    respiratory complications.
    SOLUTIONS :

    1. Using public transports.


    2. Turn off the lights when not 6. Use of fans instead of Air

    CONCLUSIONS:

      Environmental pollution is causing a lot of distress not


    only to humans but also animals, driving many animal
    species to endangerment and even extinction.
     global warming is the major challenge for our global
    society. There is very little doubt that global warming
    will change our climate in the next century. ... If
    implemented now, a lot of the costs and damage that
    could be caused by changing climate can be mitigated.
